EquiScholars HQ

Safeguarding

At EquiScholars HQ, the safety, well-being, and voice of every child and young person (CYP) are at the heart of everything we do. We create a trusting, supportive environment where learners feel heard, valued, and secure in expressing their thoughts and emotions.

We believe that strong, relational connections are key to supporting emotional regulation and resilience. CYP are encouraged to confide in any member of our team, knowing that their concerns will be taken seriously and responded to with care and integrity.

Our robust safeguarding policies ensure that all staff:
✔ Hold enhanced DBS checks and receive regular safeguarding training in line with UK standards.
✔ Adhere to a strict safeguarding process, reporting and recording all concerns, no matter how small.
✔ Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to provide holistic support.

Through co-regulation, consistency, and connection, we create a safe, nurturing space where CYP feel empowered, supported, and ready to thrive.
